CAVA response on COVID-19
In light of the ongoing UK COVID-19 outbreak, please find below CAVA’s response and how we are supporting our members through this rapidly changing situation. The health and wellbeing of our staff, our members’ staff, and our students is our highest priority.
CAVA will remain open with a contingency plan in place for working remotely if required. CAVA staff will be limiting work-related national travel as much as possible, replacing in-person meetings where possible with calls and online meetings.
We are working closely with our members to ensure that students have the best possible experience throughout their studies, and that academic standards are maintained. External moderation, awards boards and validation events will take place as scheduled. We are putting in place contingency plans for these to be conducted online.
We are aware that colleges may have to limit classroom-based teaching, consider online delivery, and potentially close. We are working with our members to identify the best possible plans to support students’ programmes of study.
We are keen to support our members as much as possible through these difficult and ever changing circumstances and will keep you updated on CAVA’s position. Please do not hesitate to contact the CAVA team if you have any questions or wish to discuss this further.
